About me…I’ve wanted to be a writer since I was 11 and I’ve been giving advice to my friends and family since before I could write.  To say I’m an old soul is an understatement.  I feel like I was born had a few good years of childhood ignorance and then became the 40+ year old person I am today in mind and spirit.  I’m told I am the queen of giving great advice – – from the ins and outs of maintaining friendships to the dating and relationship advice I give to my myriad of soul sisters, I’ve spent countless hour talking with them about parenting, work, love, loss, finances and everything in between.  Some times they do what I suggest, other times, not so much – – but either way they keep coming back and seem to think I know what the heck I’m talking about.  I won’t waste anyone’s time debating whether or not I actually deserve the Advice Queen title or not, but I do know that my journey going back to college as a working adult, is one that many people can relate to.  I chose this as my inaugural blog concept because it seemed like a fitting place to send a message about hope and getting to your goals.  I’m also selfishly hoping it helps release the “frustrated writer” in me while at the same time giving me an opportunity to connect with other like-minded spirits travelling on the same journey.
